Before you start
If you cannot remember which subdomain your team’s workspace lives at — or whether you are an owner, agent, or customer on more than one — you do not need to guess. Enter your email at the recall page and Essential Support emails you back the full list.
Look up your workspaces
- Go to https://app.essential.support/forgot. You can also reach it from the sign-up page: at the bottom of app.essential.support, click “support portal” in the line “Already have a workspace? Sign in from your support portal.”
- In the Your email field, enter the address you use on your workspace(s) — as an owner, an agent, or a customer.
- If a security-check widget appears, it normally passes automatically; only complete an interactive challenge if one appears.
- Click Email me the list.
- The page always shows “Check your email” — this response is identical whether or not your address matched anything, so the page itself never reveals which workspaces exist for which addresses. The real answer only ever lands in your inbox.
- Open the email from Essential Support with the subject “Your Essential Support workspaces.” If your address is on one or more workspaces, they are grouped under up to three headings — Account owner, Agent, and Customer — each row showing the workspace’s name and its address (for example, acme.essential.support). Both the name and the address are clickable links straight to that workspace’s sign-in page. If your address is not on any workspace, the email instead says: “We didn’t find any support workspaces associated with your email address.”
- Click the workspace you want, then continue with the ordinary sign-in flow at that address.
Edge cases
- A workspace’s internal sandbox/testing copy never appears in this list, even if your address is on the parent workspace — sandboxes are not real destinations to sign in to.
- If you were removed as an agent from a workspace (your seat disabled), that workspace no longer appears under Agent — this list only reflects your current access.
- Each of the three groups is capped at 100 workspaces; if your address is genuinely on more than that, only the first 100 (alphabetically) appear per group.
- Submitting an address with no matching workspaces at all still shows the same “Check your email” response and still sends an email — just the “we didn’t find any” version — so a blank result at this step is not itself informative.
